Mix breed dog found East of Kernan Boulevard and just South of Atlantic Boulevard in Intracoastal West area of Jacksonville on Wednesday morning 8/13/08. Brown and black neutered male dog with a dark grey tongue, dark brown eyes. Looks like it may have Chow or Huskie in him. Approximately 40-45 pounds with a bushy Chow-like tail. Was wearing a dark green tattered collar with no ID. Has a hot spot on his lower back. Very friendly with other dogs and people. HATES CATS! Knows commands (stay, no, shake, walk). Call 904-220-2652.
Found in Nassauville, a young female terrier about 12-15 lbs. She is muli-colored but mostly sandy blonde wire hair. She was wearing a nylon collar. Although she appears to have been on the road for some time, she is very friendly. She also appears used to being held, so I know someone is really missing her. I live in Cypress Cove off of Mayport Road. I found a reddish/copper brown and white medium to large dog. He is a male and has a teal green collar. He was found last night about 9pm and he is a sweet dog. I do not want to have to send him to the pound but I have 3 already. If you know anyone who has last a dog in this area of the beaches please contact me.
